How New Year's Resolutions are Like a Lodestar

In which Bryan talks about a sextant, a lodestar and New Year's Resolutions.

Each year we get a clean slate and an opportunity to make ourselves anew through our New Year's Resolutions — and we have a choice in how we think about these "resolutions".

We can think of them as "GOALS" and view them as a GPS with a predefined destination and calculated route — or we can view them as a "LODESTAR" seen through a sextant which is less mechanical, precise, but more human.
